Meet the Team
Jan – Office Manager
Jan joined our team in 1983, one year after beginning her dental career. She attended Illinois State University. Jan values being part of an organization that consistently strives to be the best at what we do – always putting patients first and having a great time doing it! She likes to help people understand and achieve what they want from dentistry. She thinks that our practice is a wonderful place to be. Jan and her husband have three children and one dog, Max. In her spare time, Jan’s interests center around her home, family, and friends.
Carol Ann – Appointment Coordinator
When you’ve scheduled an appointment, you’ve probably spoken with Carol Ann. She’s been with our team since 1990 after beginning her dental career in 1982. Carol Ann likes working with our staff members to deliver outstanding patient care, and she loves seeing Dr. Orser’s amazing results. Carol Ann feels that our patients are more like good friends. She has been married for 18 years to her best friend, Joe. They have two children, Samantha and Daniel. Outside the office, Carol Ann loves art, bowling, watching her children play sports, and spending time with her family.
Debbie – Treatment Coordinator
A member of our team since 1979, Debbie has almost 40 years of experience in dentistry. She’s constantly moving forward in her dental knowledge and appreciates the versatility her job provides. She values our family-like team and feels that we offer our patients the best care for beautiful, healthy smiles. Married with two children, Debbie likes to watch her kids play sports, spend time with friends, and get ready for her favorite holiday – Christmas.
Lisa – Treatment Coordinator
Lisa joined our team in 1982, the year she entered the field of dentistry. She attended Harper College and completed EMT training. Lisa considers herself fortunate to work with what she considers the greatest dentist and team in the profession. She appreciates her continued professional growth and finds it extremely rewarding to help people take care of themselves and feel great about their smiles. Lisa is the youngest of four children. She has been married for 20 years to her best friend, with whom she has three children. A member of Harvest Bible Chapel in Lake Zurich, Lisa is thankful for her relationship with God, her family, and her friends.
Angela – Registered Dental Hygienist
Angela began her dental career in 1975 and started working with our team in 1989. She attended Harper College. Angela loves keeping current with advances in dentistry and applying her knowledge to help our patients achieve the smiles they deserve. Our teamwork, camaraderie, and exemplary patient care drive Angela to do her best every day. Angela is married with three children and two grandchildren.
Elly – Registered Dental Hygienist
Elly began her dental career in 1986 and has been a full-time registered dental hygienist at our practice since 1994. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is also licensed in California. She stays current with leading-edge dentistry and holds OSHA, CPR, and laser certifications, as well as expanded-function certifications for local anesthesia, nitrous oxide sedation, and soft-tissue curettage. Her special training and certifications allowed her to participate in SHARP, a safety recognition program in which our office won an Exemplary Workplace award - a distinction given to only ten offices in Illinois. Elly stays current with continuing education and is active with RDH Under One Roof, a dental hygienist association. She helps our patients achieve their best oral health and is proud to be part of our team. Elly truly enjoys her work. Married to Jim since 2008, Elly has two daughters. Her hobbies include having fun with her family, cooking, spending time with friends, and scrapbooking to preserve her wonderful memories.
Mary – Registered Dental Hygienist
Mary joined our team in 2007. She has 23 years of experience as a dental hygienist, along with an associate’s degree from Harper College. Certified in laser and CPR, Mary enjoys learning new technology and remains up-to-date via continuing education. She finds her job very rewarding and enjoys helping people realize optimal dental health. Mary is a team player who shares our common goal of providing a comfortable environment and delivering exemplary care using advanced technology and techniques. Married to Wesley, her husband of 20 years, Mary has a teenage son named Matt, a dog named Gunner, and a cat she calls Halo. Mary enjoys reading, singing, hiking, and playing with her pets.
Suzanne – Dental Assistant
Suzanne started with our team in 1982 and has almost 30 years of dental experience. She holds an associate’s degree in Dental Health and Assisting from Robert Morris College. Suzanne takes pride in being part of a team that adheres to the highest standards of honesty and integrity and that possesses a genuine compassion for patients. She values bringing joy to people through advanced, patient-focused dental care that employs the latest tools, technology, and techniques. Married for 27 years, Suzanne has three sons. In her spare time, she likes to have fun with her family, attend church, ski, visit antique shops, and read.
Sue – Dental Assistant
Sue has been involved in dentistry since 1992. She joined our team in 2004. Sue assists Dr. Orser chair-side and performs activities in our lab, including pouring models, making mouthguards, and working with our E4D system. The youngest of eight children, Sue attended the University of South Carolina, as well as Rosary College. She values our fun, enthusiastic team and loves the creativity her job allows. Nothing pleases Sue more than seeing the difference we make in patients’ smiles. Sue is married to Robb, a software developer. Outside the office, Sue likes to read, bake, do crafts, play board games, and travel.
